Slider Compound Sight from Viper
The Pit Viper slider sight from Viper Archery has a dovetail-shaped bar that fits the Mathes Bridge Lock and can also be used with the supplied mounting block. The solid sight head has a double vertical adjustment, via a toothed rack and a large adjusting wheel and also via a traditional threaded rod. Both adjustments can be used independently from another. So with a relatively short sight rail of only around 60 mm in length, in theory a max travel of over 80 mm can be achieved. However, the fine adjustment is not necessarily intended for frequent use but for small elevation corrections of the entire scale. In the field or when hunting, the settings can then be adjusted using the adjustment wheel and are easy to read from the angled sight tape.
The sight is supplied with two fixed fiber pins (1 x red, 1 x green), the distance between which cannot be adjusted.
