Recurve sight from Shibuya.

This model (250-9-A) is a sight for the recurve archer with a very short vertical bar. However, the vertical adjustment range of this sight is not only limited to the adjustment range of the vertical bar. Due to the mounting bracket that is attached to the bow, the extension bar can be fixed in two different positions, which can be done quickly and easily using the large thumb knob. By raising or lowering the extension bar, the vertical adjustment is extended by a further 35 mm. This means that a total of approx. 77 mm effective vertical travel in height can be achieved. Another special feature of the mounting bracket is the possibility to screw the bracket to the bow in a high and a low position. For this purpose, the mounting bracket can be turned and thus be raised or lowered further. The difference is 25 mm. The effective vertical adjustment path of approx. 77 mm can thus be shifted by a total of 25 mm.
This sight is equipped with a type "A" extension bar, which means that it is stiffer than type "B". The stiffer model is especially designed for archers with a higher draw weight to better cope with the higher/stronger vibrations. However, the type "A" extension bar is also suitable for archers with a lower draw weight. The weight difference is 12 grams.

• The quick adjustment screw has a larger contact surface to the extension bar and thus ensures that the extension bar is fixed even more securely.
• Fine adjustment of the vertical axis 1/480" (0.05 mm) per click.
• Fine adjustment of the horizontal axis 1/640" (0.04 mm) per click.
• There is a metal scale on both sides of the adjustment rail. One has a standard scale, the other is blank and can be labeled by you.
• The sight pin can be loosened with a thumb screw and thus be adjusted in the to the side, without the need for a hex-key, as was previously the case with the Ultima II RC.
