Blank bow weight from Hoyt
The system consists of a stainless steel core with a diameter of 70 mm and a weight of 500 g. You can either add a 50 g light black aluminum ring (to protect the thread) or one of two stainless steel rings to further increase the weight. The rings weigh 330 g and 610 g respectively. The weight is mounted to the bow using a standard UNF 5/16” diameter screw (included).
The slotted hole allows the lateral position of the weight to be easily changed to achieve optimum balance with the rest of the bow setup. The weight system is supplied in a beautiful protective cover and makes a nice gft as well.
With these rings, the weight including mounting screw has the following weights and dimensions:
- Aluminum ring: 570 g (20 oz.), Diameter = 75 mm
- Stainless steel ring 1: 850 g (30 oz.), Diameter = 81 mm
- Stainless steel ring 2: 1130 g (40 oz.), Diameter = 90 mm
The thickness of the weight is 28 mm for all variants.
