Description

String for recurve bows from Nitro Strings.

Nitro recurve and compound bowstrings are made in the UK by experienced staff using machinery imported from the USA, capable of pre-stretching the strings with up to 300 lb of pressure and twisting then serving them whilst under that pressure. The result is a bowstring with complete stability from the 1st shot.

As standard, the recurve strings consist of 16 strands. BCY 2X 0.015” is used for loop and end serving. Standard centre serving is BCY 62XS Braided serving in black.

All Nitros recurve strings are made to fit small groove nocks (e.g. Easton small groove G and pin nocks and Beiter #1) as standard.

Please note: The options in the dropdown menu are referring to bow size. The actual string size is shorter than that. The required string length may change based on the riser / limb combination used, but the standard lengths used by Nitro are as follows:

For green, orange, purple and yellow, very bright neon colors are used.
