Arrows

Besides the bow, arrows are the most important components of archery. In the BSS category arrows you will find everything it takes to make arrows. Starting with shafts, points, vanes/feathers and nocks. Depending on the arrow model, you can of course also find complementary parts as bushings, pin adapters, wraps & lettering.

To make the life of beginners a bit more faster some manufacturers offer „fletched arrows". This means: feathers or vanes are glued on and a nock is already attached. However, there is a difference between arrows that have the points already glued in place and those that come with a separate point pack. Read more about this here.

What you need to know before buying arrows in general:

It is important to clarify 3 things before purchasing. This is the case for fletched arrows or self-built arrows likewise:
1. What kind of material do you need?
2. What is your draw weight?
3. What is your draw length?

If you need help with these questions, check out our blog post: What kind of arrows do I need?

BSS Spine Table:

For a quick start we prepared a simple spine table for a first orientation. You should know that a range of +/- 100 is not that big of a deal to get started. The more you will shoot, the sooner you will notice if you want the next set of arrows harder, or softer. If the question "What is the Spine" is of fundamental interest to you, you can find an in-depth blog article on this topic in the BSS blog.
